The Fijords
The Norwegian Fijords is an amazing place with tons of gorgeous scenery and intresting history background. Most people don't fully understand what a Fijord atually is. It also depends on who you talk to about they think that defines a Fijord. The "true" definiion is a long, narrow inlet with steep sides or cliffs, created by a glacier. but then are people who say a Fijord is any deep, narrow and elongated sea or lakedrain, with steep land on three sides. Besides seeing the Fijords you can see the Northern Lights depending on time of year you go. Here are a few good towns you can go to while travling through the Fijords.
- Haugesund
- Olden
- Gerianger
- Stavanger
